Infertility is a crazy, overwhelming experience that can mess with your mind. It’s filled with endless waiting, false hope and disappointment that bring up negative emotions like frustration, jealously and fear. Bottom line is…infertility sucks, but like most difficult times, in the midst of all the chaos, there’s also room to learn valuable lessons and find silver linings.

From the moment I started trying to have a baby to the moment I got pregnant (about three years), I grew so much as a person. It was the toughest period of my life, but through it all I became more mindful and more resilient to life’s setbacks.
